Art can be known as many things and can be practised by using thousands of methods or mediums. It stimulates the brain and has the power to inspire.
My blog is solely dedicated to the arts. I appreciate all sorts of different cultures and styles but my main focus is on paintings. Paintings by artists from one particular region a little known country called Pakistan.
Pakistan may be famous or notorious for quite a few reasons but I wonder how many people actually know that it has one of the worlds fastest growing are markets.
This was clearly evident when all the major auction houses such as Bonhams,Christies and Sothebys declared record sales in Pakistani art. The most recent was held bty Bonhams Middle East at the Royal Mirage in Dubai.
